A Curriculum Designed for Aspiring Social Work Professionals

The Advanced Standing MSW program has a 32-credit curriculum specifically designed for professionals who have earned a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) within the last five years. With an expedited one-year learning track, the program provides the opportunity for students to specialize in Clinical or Community practice. This gives you the flexibility to follow your social work passions and tailor your curriculum to align with your career goals.

Our curriculum will not only empower you to directly apply the lessons you learn in class in real time but will also help you to think critically about spirituality and the impact that faith can have on those you’re working to support. With this unique approach to a holistic MSW curriculum, you will be prepared to discuss faith with clients and explore how it has impacted them personally.

Our Supportive Online Learning Environment

As an Advanced Standing MSW student, you will attend live online classes where you will learn alongside fellow aspiring social work professionals with varying years of experience and create deep connections with faculty. You can also access your coursework on the go via our one-click dashboard, which features dark mode, searchable video transcripts, and adjustable video speed. Of course, throughout the program, you’ll also have access to personalized support in the form of one-on-one faculty office hours, career coaching, and our worldwide network of Baylor alumni.
