Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition

The Master of Public Health (MPH) online program is a 42-credit program that provides the same challenging and interactive education as Baylor’s on-campus MPH program. Tuition for the current school year is $1,785 per credit hour. There is an additional $100 administrative fee per term. Please note that tuition and fees are subject to change and may increase each academic year.

Immersion

Students are required to attend one immersion to meet the requirements of the program. The immersion is two credit hours and is billed at the credit hour rate for the relevant term. In addition to tuition costs for the immersion credits, students are responsible for costs associated with travel and lodging. You may request a Cost of Attendance Adjustment from the Student Financial Aid Office if you need to apply for student loans beyond the average cost of attendance to cover your expenses. The Cost of Attendance Adjustment form can be accessed online through our appeals webpage.

We are pleased to inform you that qualified applicants to the October 2023 cohort are eligible for scholarships. Once you begin the application process, your admissions counselor will provide you with further information.

Financial Aid

There are various ways to fund your Baylor education. When evaluating how to pay for your degree you should consider a number of options, including personal resources, external scholarships, employer tuition assistance, and student loans.

For student loan options, visit the student financial services website.

External sources are also available to students who wish to seek scholarship opportunities. The external scholarships list is a resource to search for additional funding options. Scholarship funding is limited and not guaranteed; students should not rely entirely on this option.

Applying for Federal Student Aid

In order to apply for federal student aid, including student loans, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). Baylor’s school code is 003545. Remember that you must complete the FAFSA each academic year to remain eligible for federal student aid.

For more information on the financial aid process, please visit the Financial Aid Checklist or the Military Education Benefits Checklist. If you have any questions about the program or tuition you can contact an admissions counselor at any time at 1-855-430-8938 or mphadmissions@onlinegrad.baylor.edu.
